Research Interests: GIS; remote sensing; spatial analysis; machine learning; landscape ecology; physical geography; environmental modeling; land use/cover mapping; land use/cover change modeling; and rubber expansion in Southeast Asia.
Zhe Li is the Spatial Information
Technology Specialist. He received his Ph.D. in Geography in 2007 from Clark University
with a major field in Geographic Information Science and two minor fields in
Spatial Analysis and Land Cover Change Modeling. Dr. Li's scholarship focuses on the development neural network models (Multi-Layer-Perceptron, Self-Organizing Maps and Fuzzy ART/ARTMAP) for IDRISI in the use of remotely
sensed imagery classification, land cover change detection/modeling and spatial
uncertainty analysis.
