Research Interests: Telecommunications trade between US-Japan, satellite orbital competition over the Pacific, privatization of telecommunications monopolies in the Asia Pacific region, Infrastructure growth in China and the markets for cellular mobile networks.

Dr. Jussawalla has taught and lectured in the United States, Germany and India, her native country. She is a member of the Editorial Board for Information Economics and Policy Journal; a memberf the Board of Directors, International Institute of Communications, London, and Board of Trustees member, Pacific Telecommunications Council.
