Christina Monroe

Ms. Monroe directs professional development initiatives, including network development, internships and field studies in Washington, D.C. and Asia for the Asia Pacific Leadership Program, a graduate certificate for young to mid career professionals from the region.  Previously, Ms. Monroe was a lecturer for the Chancellor's Leadership Program and Director of the Service Learning Program at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 1998 to 2002.  She received a BA in sociology (Phi Betta Kappa) from the University of Tulsa and a MA in social sciences from the University of Amsterdam, where she conducted qualitative research on cultural and educational exchanges for her degree in ethnicity and nationalism.  In 2004 she was a fellow in the Asia Pacific Leadership Program at the East-West Center.
