Kanika Mak-Lavy is responsible for data analysis and policy compliance of participant awards (scholarships, fellowships, grants, etc.) for the entire East-West Center. She also serves as the Education Program's website content manager. Prior to joining the Center in fall 2008, she was a U.S. Foreign Service Officer in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Kanika has also worked for a Washington, DC-based NGO, where she implemented global health and State Department international visitor programs. She is proficient in French, Khmer, and Vietnamese.
