As the East-West Center Foundation’s Vice-President for Development, Ms. Brown is responsible for the overall planning and management of development strategies for the Foundation.

Ms. Brown comes to EWC with a diverse professional background in government, law, nonprofit management and more than 20 years of international engagement. She was most recently with the University of Hawai‘i Foundation as the Assistant Vice-President responsible for strategic planning and managing the Foundation's international relationships, with a primary focus on Asia and the Pacific. As part of the campus leadership team, Ms. Brown oversaw development operations for the university’s flagship Manoa campus, leading a team of about a dozen fundraising professionals.

Ms. Brown's prior professional experience includes Honolulu Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, as well as program officer for high level legal exchanges with China and the World Economic Forum's China partners. She serves as the Hearing Officer for the Hawai‘i Supreme Court's Office of Disciplinary Counsel, and on the Board of the Sun Yat-sen Hawaii Foundation.
