Participants choosing this option in the second semester take courses from across the University of Hawai‘i spectrum including Asian and Pacific Island Studies, language training, leadership education classes etc. The University has one of the strongest schools of Asia Pacific studies and language courses in the United States: School of Pacific and Asian Studies (SPAS)
