Community Building Institute
New Members of East-West Center ‘Ohana (family in Hawaiian),
Aloha and Welcome!
The East-West Center Education Program, staff, and all of the current student fellows, recently welcomed new members and returning members of the East-West Center's spring Community Building Institute (CBI). The new participants joined a community of approximately 300 student fellows from more than 50 countries.
It is an East-West Center tradition for all new fellows to attend the CBI, where EWC staff, current fellows, and special guests welcome you to the community and share with you the opportunities for engagement at the Center. CBI is an academic program for new participants, which integrates team-building activities for EWC communities with dialogues on concerns and responsibilities related to the Asia-Pacific communities.
In the links on the left are tips and information about day-to-day life in the EWC and Hawai'i, to help answer some questions regarding living in the East-West Center community.
Sincerely,
