Please note:  Requests for Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) should only be submitted by East-West Center/Department of State J-1 exchange visitors who have never previously been issued a Social Security Number (SSN) or ITIN  and who are currently ineligible for an SSN.
