How to get around
On the island of O'ahu, you will find that there are many options available for you to get around. Commuters drive, ride mopeds/motorcycle/bicycle, or take the public bus to get to places. Below are information on the public transportation on the island and the Honolulu area, as well as information on shuttle services for transportation from the Honolulu International Airport (HNL) to the East-West Center.
TheBus
The public transit of choice for Honolulu area, TheBus runs from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.For information on the routes and timetables, visit http://thebus.org/Information Department (808) 848-5555. Student Pass, UPASS, can be obtained at UH-Manoa Campus Center for free (a valid UH ID is required). You will be provided a UPASS sticker on your UHID. Students from Law, Medical, and Outreach College will need to purchase an OPT-In UPASS for $125/semester. One-Way Regular Fare: $2.50

Shuttle Services from Honolulu International Airport
There are many transportation services available for you to choose from that will take you from the Honolulu International Airport (HNL) to the East-West Center. The EWC is approximately 9 miles away (20-30 minutes by car).
