Hi-Speed Internet Access from Your Dormitory
All EWC housing facilities are equipped with high-speed internet connection. Just plug-in your cable and surf the web. For technical instructions, see the attached reference sheet.

The ITS Help Desk (956-8883) provides a single point of contact where questions can be directed concerning ITS computing and technology services. Student consultants are available to answer questions and make referrals to appropriate staff as needed. Assistance is available in the following areas and more: obtaining a UH Username, and obtaining software and instructions for connecting your home computer to the Campus Network and the Internet Here are the hours of operation for the ITS Help Desk: 8:00 a.m.-9:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Friday.
Your UH Username (email account)
Your UH username is your key to email, Internet access, Web publishing, and numerous key services. You may request your UH username online from https://sunsys.its.hawaii.edu/acctmgmt/ and selecting the Get An Account link. Your account should be ready within five minutes. Most services, such as the MyUH, will be available to you once your account is created. Your UH Email Account (@hawaii.edu) will be available for use after fifteen minutes. If you cannot use your account, please call the ITS Help Desk at (808) 956-8883 for assistance.
Free Anti-Virus Software
ITS provides free McAfee VirusScan Enterprise Edition 8.0i with updates. You may pick up the ITS CD-ROM at the ITS Keller 105 Lab or ITS PCLab (Keller 213). Please bring a picture ID with you.
Wireless Internet Connection
UH wireless internet connection does not cover any EWC housing faculties. However, you can enjoy the freedom of wireless internet in Hamilton Library, Saunders Hall, or many other places. For technical configuration, visit http://www.hawaii.edu/wireless
