United States–South Pacific Scholarship Program


The East-West Center is pleased to announce the selection of the 2016 United States–South Pacific Scholarship Recipients:


  • Ms. Bethsheba Gima   (Papua New Guinea)   MA candidate in Mathematics


  • Ms. Amanda-Rose Bagadouwe   (Nauru)   BA candidate in Political Science


  • Ms. Theresa Philia Togia   (Samoa)   BBA candidate in Business Administration


The USSP Scholarship Program received many fine applications this year, and the East-West Center would like to congratulate all three awardees and wish them well as they begin their studies in the United States in August 2017.

Information on the next round of competition will be available in early August 2017.
