The first “pilot project” delegates have been selected to be trained and promoted as the future leaders of China's rapidly evolving state-owned enterprises in this project sponsored by the State-owned Assets Supervision & Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council of China. The goal is to give the delegates a better understanding of how to do business internationally by meeting other business leaders and discussing issues related to current theories of business development, management, and corporate social responsibility. The Honolulu program run by EWC, US-China Relations, Leading Change in the 21st Century Economy,  will introduce delegates to Hawaii and include several days of discussions, touching on issues such as leadership, energy, corporate social responsibility, and China's role in the region and the world.  Delegates will then travel to San Francisco - January 21-27  and Los Angeles - January 28-February 4. Sponsored by SASAC, EWC and Sinomedia. Attendance is by invitation only.
