The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Ocean Service (NOS) Coastal Storms Program and other regional program partners including the Pacific Climate Information System (PaCIS) will be holding a workshop entitled, “Towards a Consensus Methodology for Projecting Sea Level Rise and Coastal Inundation in the Pacific Islands.”  


This two-day workshop will take place January 10-11, 2012 at the Hawaii Imin International Conference Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Participants representing federal and state agencies as well as other experts from the academic community will gather to explore our current understanding of information and methods that can be used to project long-term changes in sea level and coastal inundation in the Pacific Islands.
