EWC Welcomes New Diplomat In ResidenceHONOLULU (Sept. 4) –Jonathan Henick, a 15-year veteran of the State Department’s Foreign Service, has joined the East-West Center for a one-year post as a visiting research fellow and diplomat-in-residence. Henick will be at the Center through the end of July, 2009, at which time he will assume the post of Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S.Embassy in Dili, Timor-Leste (East Timor). . . more . . . |
Spotlight on EducationNew EWC Student Fellows WelcomedThe East-West Center recently welcomed a new cohort of 159 students hailing from 37 countries, bringing the total to 374 student fellows from 50 countries who will be in residence this fall at the Center.
