Dr. Fesharaki will address critical questions such as: Will growth re-emerge to pre-crisis levels? Will production keep up with resumed growth? What will the implications be for prices? He will also address the strategic policy imperatives for China and the latest developments in the Iranian oil and gas industry. He will conclude by linking these key players together and analyzing the policy implications for the United States.
Dr. Fesharaki is chairman of FACTS Global Energy, an energy consultancy firm with offices in Singapore, London and Hawaii; and also a CSIS Senior Associate in the Energy and National Security Program. He is co-editor of the East-West Center publication “Asia’s Energy Future: Regional Dynamics and Global Implications,” and he serves on the boards of several institutions including: the Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME), the premier international energy futures and commodities exchange in the Middle East; the Advisory Board of Nippon Oil, Japan's largest oil company; the American Iranian Council; the Council on Foreign Relations; and the National Petroleum Council in Washington D.C.
