Scott Kroeker holds an M.A. degree in Pacific Islands Studies from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and a BS degree in Business Administration from Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas. He follows political development in the Pacific islands closely and serves on the editorial committees for the East-West Center’s ‘AsiaPacific Issues’ series and the Center for Pacific Islands Studies’ Journal of the Contemporary Pacific. In addition to handling many of the adminstrative needs of the Pacific Islands Development Program, Mr Kroeker also is the managing editor and webmaster for the Pacific Islands Report, PIDP's news publication. Offered as a free service to readers around the world, PIR provides an edited digest of news, commentary, and analysis from across the Pacific region, Monday through Friday.
