Two Northeast Asia Dialogues have been held at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii for Japanese, Korean, Chinese and American journalists. A tentative South Asia Journalists Dialogue is scheduled for late 2011.

The 2008 Dialogue was funded by The Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership, the Korea Press Foundation and the Pacific Century Institute.
