Anukriti (Anu) Hittle staffs the state government of Hawaii’s Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation commission. Before coming to Hawaii, she was a climate change researcher in Washington DC with the World Resources Institute, an activist at Greenpeace, and a professor at Washington University in St Louis, where she co-led the RINGO observer delegation for COPs 20,21 and 22. Her background is in International Relations (from Columbia University) and Forest Resource Management (from Duke University), with a focus on economics, policy and law. Aldo Leopold said “There are some who can live without wild things, and some who cannot.” Anu is someone who cannot.”
