Preferential accommodation rates are being offered to all registered participants and guests of the 2022 EWC/EWCA International Conference.  Reservations are subject to space availability.  All reservations must be made directly with the hotels.  Please follow the specific registration procedures for the accommodations you select.

Please note that the accommodations listed are only suggestions.  You are welcome to find a hotel on your own.  Search for hotels near the Hawai'i Convention Center and East-West Center.

Transportation between the suggested hotels (except for the Queen Kapi'olani Hotel) and the conference venue will be provided once in the morning and at the end of each day.  If the hotel you select is not near the conference venue and not one of the suggested accommodations listed, you will need to make your own transportation arrangements to and from the conference venue.

To make reservations for Lincoln Hall:

Please complete the Housing Visitor Request Form and email it to [email protected]. In your email, please indicate that you will be attending the EWC/EWCA International Conference. You MUST register for the conference first in order to receive the EWC Housing rates listed below.

Tips for completing the form:

  • For Requester Name, Telephone, Email Address, and Post Address, please provide your personal contact information.
  • For Requester Status, please check “EWC participant/resident.”
  • Please electronically sign the bottom Requester’s Signature field.

IMPORTANT:  A credit card is needed to guarantee the reservation. For security reasons, please DO NOT email the form with your credit information. You may leave the credit card information section blank, and call +1 (808) 944-7805 to provide your credit card information over the phone, or you may fax the form with credit card information to +1 (808) 944-7790. Lincoln Hall apartments are furnished with a desk, dresser, chair, 1-double bed, television, telephone, study lamp, closet space, hangers, ceiling fan, clock radio and small refrigerator.  Linen, bedding (including pillow, blanket, bedspread, two sheets, and a pillowslip), towels and soap are provided.  Rooms are cleaned and linen is exchanged weekly. All housing facilities are NOT air conditioned.  All apartments have cable TV, telephone service, broadband internet connectivity and private bathroom/toilet facilities.

Coin operated laundry machines, a microwave oven and a soft drink machine are available in the basement of Lincoln Hall.

Check-in time is 2:00 p.m., and check-out time is 10:00 a.m.  If the room is ready there is flexibility on the check in time. If the room is not ready, you may leave your bags with the front desk and come back and check-in later. If you check-out later than the 10:00 a.m. check-out time, you may be charged for an additional night.

Payment for housing can be made by travelers’ checks, cash, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Diner’s Club) at the Lincoln Hall reception desk or at the Hale Mānoa reception desk. Payment will be requested upon check-in.

72 hours advanced notice of any cancellations or changes to your reservation is required to avoid penalty charges.

If you arrive at night or early morning between 8:00pm and 8:00am, ask the taxi driver to first stop at Hale Mānoa where there is a 24-hour front desk, so that you can obtain your key to Lincoln Hall. The key will open the side entrance to Lincoln Hall and the door to your room.

*Meal Plans are required for an additional cost for each night of stay at UH Conference Housing. Participation in the meal plan program is mandatory seven days a week for all Conference Housing Guests. Meals can be used at any time during the duration of your stay with Conference Housing. Take out meal options are also available.  Note: the rates listed below are for 2021. Summer 2022 rates have not been finalized.  The actual 2022 rates will be posted as soon as they are released.

You must choose between a two or three meals a day plan.

Credit Card
A credit card form with the cardholder's original signature must be faxed back to the UH Student Housing Services Office: (808) 956-5995. The office will send receipt of your payment via email. Download the Credit Card Payment Form

Check
Personal checks or group/organization checks accepted. Payable to: University of Hawaii.

Money Order
International Postal Money Order. Note: This is the most common method of payment from international groups and/or individuals.

Cash
Cash is accepted for payment for arrangements or changes made immediately prior to check-in. Cash payments must be made in person at the Student Housing Services Cashiers Office.

Guests are required to follow payment terms and deadlines stated in their contract. Full payment prior to check-in is required.

Prices for room and meal plans above include taxes.

These rates are based on availability. Cancellations are 100% refundable up to 12 noon the day of check-in. 

Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. To guarantee early check in, it is suggested that you schedule your arrival date from the day before. Due to Hawai‘i State laws, the hotel has opted to be completely smoke free.

Please note that these rates are based on availability. Cancellations are 100% refundable up 14 days prior without any penalties; 13-4 days prior to arrival will be subject to a one-night stay (room and tax); and cancellation within 72 hours (3 days) prior to arrival will be responsible for the full amount of the reservation (room and tax). Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am. Early check-in and late check-out are based on availability. There is an $8.90 porterage fee per person inclusive of tax and gratuity for all reservations.
