U.S. South Pacific Scholarship Program



The East-West Center is pleased to announce the selection of the 2018 United States South Pacific Scholarship Recipients:


  • Mr. John Mark Melve (Vanuatu) Master of Science degree in Ocean & Resources Engineering


  • Ms. Chloe Utoctoc Norkiwoh Nalyal Molou (Vanuatu) Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science


  • Mr. Niger Junior Nogo (Solomon Islands) Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting


The USSP Scholarship Program received many fine applications this year, and the East-West Center would like to congratulate all three awardees and wish them well as they begin their studies in the United States in August 2019.

Information on the next round of competition will be available in early September 2019.
