The China Protected Areas Leadership Alliance Project is a five year
initiative to expose selected nature reserve managers and government
officials throughout China to innovative conservation management issues
and strategies.  The Nature Conservancy China Program, Tsinghua University School of
Public Policy and Management in Beijing, and the East-West Center in
Honolulu, Hawaii, have joined together in partnership with the State
Forestry Administration to strengthen leadership capacity for effective
