The Pacific Islands Development Program (PIDP) in collaboration with the Center for Pacific Island Studies at UH Mānoa & Women of the Wave, CROP Women’s Network cordially invite you to join us virtually for (En)Gendering Pacific Stories: Women Shifting the Tide: Organizing for a Nuclear Free and Independent Pacific.

Date: August 25, 2022
Noon to 1pm (HST)
Register at: https://www.eastwestcenter.org/ZQ3

Our panel for this event is: Talei Mangioni from Australia National University, Joy Enomoto from the Hawai’i Peace and Justice Organization, and Ariana Tibon from the Republic of the Marshall Islands National Nuclear Commission.  All three panelists bring rich and authentic views and experiences as women that identify with and are impacted directly by nuclear warfare and testing.  We look forward to this event as our panelists will share how their work and roles as women leaders in their respective communities affect how they organize, inspire, mentor, and nurture the future generations of a hopeful nuclear free and independent Pacific.

We hope you can join us for this inspiring, lunch-hour talk-story event!

See you there!
