This past summer, 24 fellows from 19 Pacific Islands Conference of Leaders (PICL) member countries, territories, and the State of Hawaiʻi completed the inaugural 2023 Resilient Pacific Islands Leaders (RPIL) Fellowship, a six-week leadership development program with a residency in Hawai’i and a field immersion in Washington DC.

Dr. Hattori will discuss how the fellowship offers the opportunity for rising Pacific Island leaders to enhance their leadership capacities and build a network with other leaders from across the Pacific and the US.
