Join East-West Center and one of Hawai‘i’s leading senior experts for an information-packed online seminar to help you begin your estate planning, understand how to protect your estate for your loved ones, and turn your assets into lifetime income. Topics will include:

Keeping the Rest of Your Estate Plan Up-To-Date
-Estate Tax Uncertainty after 2020
-Brief comments about 2020 CARES Act changes
-Will and Trusts
-Review all documents to simplify planning
-Power of Attorney and Healthcare Directives

How you can use Charitable Gifts to your advantage:
-Liquidate highly appreciated real property with less capital gains tax impact
-Receive income tax deductions
-Increase income

SPEAKER:
Stephen H. Reese, Esq. has been in private practice in Hawai‘i since 1988 and has provided legal counsel for the East-West Center’s charitable planned giving program since 1999. He specializes in estate planning, charitable planned giving, and business planning.

Anyone can leave a legacy of value. It isn’t necessary to be a person of great wealth to make a meaningful contribution. A gift from your estate can be designated to student scholarships or a program at the East-West Center. Although we hope you will consider the East-West Center in your estate plans, there is no charge or obligation to attend this seminar.

To register by Wednesday, August 12th go to:

http://www.eastwestcenter.org/ZNJ

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the meeting.
