Please join us on Sunday, September 30, from 2:00-3:30 p.m., as we celebrate the opening of the East-West Center Arts Program’s latest exhibit, Capturing a Legacy: Four Generations of Nepalese Photographers. The reception will include a walkthrough by exhibition curator, Cristeena Chitrakar.

Cristeena Chitrakar is an Operations Manager and Art Historian at the Dirghaman & Ganeshman Chitrakar Art Foundation, Kathmandu, Nepal. As the great-granddaughter of Dirgha Man Chitrakar, one of Nepal’s pioneer photographers, she strives to preserve art, culture and heritage for the future generations through digitization, publication and exhibition.
