The workshop seeks to establish a group of professionals/organizations in Honolulu with invested interest in gender-integrated conservation, or the integration of gender in community-focused outreach and awareness projects/programs by gaining an understanding of each of the members of the group, including their background, experience, gender tools or approaches, etc. in the context of integrating gender into their projects and programs and identifying collective goals or desired benefits of the group.
