Indigenomics is about about honoring the powerful thinking of Indigenous wisdom of local economy, relationships and human values. Indigenomics questions the reality of current thinking while examining the pathway of where we have collectively come from and where we are going. It examines how to build accountability, reciprocity and responsibility. The time is now and the opportunity is here to influence the emerging reality of the new economy. Indigenomics asks what values will take us there? What can be learned by seeking wisdom within new business models and an Indigenous worldview.

Carol Anne Hilton, MBA, is the CEO of Transformation International, an award-winning First Nation Social and Economic Development company. She is a recognized First Nation’s business leader with an international MBA from the University of Hertfordshire, England. Of  Nuu chah nulth descent from the Hesquiaht Nation on Vancouver Island, she was recently appointed senior advisor to the Canadian Federal Economic Growth Council and is author of Indigenomics- a Global Power Shift.  Carol Anne currently serves as Director on the McGill University Institute of the Study of Canada and the national Canadian Community Economic Development Network.
