When: Jun 27 2012 (All day) until Jun 29 2012 (All day)
Where: Imin Conference Center, East-West Center

The International Public Management Network’s (IPMN) annual conference will be held on 27-29 June, 2012 in Honolulu, Hawaii, in partnership with the East West Center. The theme of the conference will be Innovations in Public Management for Combating Corruption. The effort to combat corruption has moved to the center of the debate about improving governance, economic growth and poverty reduction, and thus the key research question of this conference will be whether innovations in public management are helping to reduce levels of corruption.

The intent of the International Public Management Network is to create and sustain a dialogue on emerging management concepts, methods and technology so that members can learn about innovation and change in public sector organizations. IPMN is a non-profit network started in 1996 by a small group of public management scholars from different countries who firmly believed in the necessity of promoting public management debate among academics and practitioners following an international and interdisciplinary approach. IPMN presently includes members representing about one hundred different countries, and the conference participants will be a cross-section of esteemed Public Management scholars and senior representatives of various policy institutes.
