This meeting is being held in region in the Philippines during the EWC's 2024 international Media Conference.

The agenda for the meeting includes election of Board members and officers, committee reports, and a review of the East-West Center budget, fundraising, and programs.  The meeting will be held in open session. About the EWC Board of Governors:
The East-West Center Board of Governors, which oversees Center policy and operations, consists of 18 members. The Governor of Hawai‘i appoints five members, the US Secretary of State appoints five members, five members are elected from the Asia Pacific region, and three are ex-officio members: the Governor of Hawai‘i or designee, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs or designee, and the President of the University of Hawai‘i.
