The Asia Pacific Dance Festival (APDF) introduces a new series entitled “Moving Forward.” Once a month, the series will present previous APDF resident artists, taking a look back at their time at the festival as well as discussing their current projects and how they are moving forward.

This session will feature Paul Alexander Morales, Artistic Director of Ballet Philippines, 2009-2017. The group participated in the 2015 Asia Pacific Dance Festival.

APDF showcases the finest dances, dancers, and choreographers from Asia and the Pacific. Centered on a series of performances, the Festival includes such complementary activities as workshops, university course offerings, public lectures, forums, and community demonstrations.

APDF is a co-production of the East-West Center Arts Program and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Outreach College. Additional support is provided by the University’s Theatre & Dance Department.
