This is a special luncheon program organized by the U.S. Asia Pacific Council of the East-West Center in Washington. The focus of our presentation and discussion will be "The New Geography of Innovation -- Asia's Role in Global Innovation Networks," featuring Dr. Dieter Ernst, Senior Fellow at the East-West Center.

Dr. Ernst has published numerous books and articles in leading journals on information technology, globalization and economic growth.  His presentation on February 14 will build on the groundbreaking research and analysis that was the basis for Innovation Offshoring: Asia’s Emerging Role In Global Innovation Networks (Honolulu, Hawaii: East-West Center, Special Report Number 10, July 2006).  Complementary copies will be available at the program.
