HONG KONG (April 23, 2010) – More than 250 journalists and media experts from across the Asia Pacific region and the U.S. will gather in Hong Kong April 25-28 to discuss the latest news and media-industry issues in the region.

Co-sponsored by the East-West Center’s Asia Pacific Center for Journalists and the University of Hong Kong’s Journalism and Media Studies Centre , the conference on the theme of “Reporting New Realities in the Asia Pacific Region” will be covered online at a special website, EWC50.org/mediaconference2010 .
