International Scholars, Officials and Business Leaders to Meet at East-West Center Alumni Conference in Seoul

Lake with pagoda in KoreaHONOLULU (July 24, 2018) – Hundreds of scholars, officials, educators and business leaders from dozens of countries will be attending the East-West Center/EWC Association’s major international alumni conference, to be held August 23-25, 2018, at the Lotte Hotel Seoul.

The conference’s theme “Intercultural Engagement in the Asia-Pacific Community” will focus on key regional topics including international relations, social justice, sustainable growth, conflict reduction, health, environment, culture and more. In addition, a number of distinguished guest speakers will discuss issues related to the far-reaching technological transformation that has been termed the “Fourth Industrial Revolution.”
