WASHINGTON, DC (March 14, 2024) – The East-West Center in Washington, in coordination with the US Embassies in Seoul and Tokyo, Korean Ministry of Education, the National Institute for International Education, and Busan Metropolitan City, are proud to announce the selected delegates for the U.S.-ROK-Japan Trilateral Global Leadership Youth Summit to be held in Busan, South Korea from July 11 to 13, 2024.
Selected from a competitive pool of over 1100 applications, 50 delegates were chosen to represent the United States, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands. Selected delegates represent a range of academic qualifications, ages, topical focus, and regional backgrounds:

The U.S.-ROK-Japan Trilateral Global Leadership Youth Summit is a new annual youth leadership initiative implemented by the East-West Center, with funding and support from U.S. Embassies in Seoul and Tokyo as well as the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea. The above-listed participants will take part in a series of online workshops before travelling to Busan for a three-day Summit.
