WASHINGTON, DC (September 5, 2023) – The East West Center is delighted to announce our acceptance of the US Embassies Seoul and Tokyo Trilateral Global Youth Leadership Forum grant. With these funds, the East-West Center in Washington is coordinating with the relevant embassies to host an interactive forum for youth delegates from the United States, South Korea, and Japan to engage in a valuable exchange. The US-ROK-Japan Trilateral Global Leadership Youth Summit is set to be held in Busan, South Korea in 2024. More details on the program will be forthcoming.

The East-West Center also recognizes and appreciates the inclusion of the upcoming Summit in the official White House Fact Sheet from the Trilateral Leaders’ Summit at Camp David, which highlighted the program’s value as an opportunity for deepened people-to-people exchange. We welcome this opportunity to be a part of bringing the next generation of leaders from like-minded democracies together to ensure our shared commitment to regional security and prosperity endures.
