Please join us for an Artists’ Discussion about the exhibition, ‘Ai Pohaku, Stone Eaters, on view from April 30 - August 13, 2023 at East-West Center Gallery.

Exhibition artists: Kahi Ching, Solomon Enos, Al Lagunero, Meleanna Aluli Meyer, Harinani Orme, and Carl F.K. Pao, will be in conversation with exhibition curator Drew Kahuʻāina Broderick about some of the key elements that are necessary when considering, maintaining and negotiating complicated issues within Kanaka ‘Oiwi communities.

This is the sixth of ten informal conversations that aim to address issues and possibilities as a means to elevate Native Hawaiian voices and presence.
