Should the Asia-Pacific economies maintain the cooperative momentum reflected in the proposed Free Trade Area of the Asia Pacific (FTAAP)? This has become one of the most important research topics of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). Dr. Li will discuss the social-economic benefits and costs that APEC economies may face in realizing the FTAAP, and put forward several feasible strategic policy recommendations.
