HONOLULU (Mar. 8, 2021) -- Each year, the East-West Center's #galswithLEI event celebrates the Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Inspiration of women business and social entrepreneurs. On March 18, the Center will launch a new online #galswithLEI Global webinar series to connect with a more geographically distributed and diverse audience than ever before.

Scheduled to run bimonthly until January 2022, #galswithLEI Global will offer a 90-minute keynote panel and attendee-driven open space designed to address today’s critical concerns, identify innovative solutions, and build networks of support for women entrepreneurs. #galswithLEI Global leverages the East-West Center’s unique access to the world’s policymakers, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and artists—uniting these global forces virtually with Hawai‘i’s women leaders to harness their collective experience, ambition, and passion amid an unprecedented era of disruption and change.

#galswithLEI Global is open to women business, social entrepreneurs, corporate and nonprofit managers, and other community leaders across the United States and the Asia Pacific. #galswithLEI Global is welcoming and respectful to women including trans women and those who identify as nonbinary gender non-conforming. Registration costs $10 and is limited to the first 100 people to encourage attendee engagement.
