Through funding from the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, this intensive 6-week program will bring tourism industry professionals from the Pacific Islands to Honolulu, Hawai‘i to build significant new capacity and facilitate enduring professional bonds between industry leaders in the United States and the Pacific Islands. Fellows will participate in a 4-week Fellowship at an appropriate tourism-related business or agency, receive additional capacity-building opportunities and leadership training, and travel to Washington, D.C. for the capstone national Professional Fellows Congress.
