AI, Privacy, and Social Cohesion: A Collaborative Futures Symposium is a forward-looking effort to foster international, intercultural, and intergenerational collaboration aimed at exploring and evaluating the societal ramifications of intelligent technology. Through small group and plenary discussions, cooperative brainstorming, and scenarios-building exercises undertaken in a spirit of thoughtful conviviality, symposium participants will capitalize on their different conceptions and commitments regarding privacy and social cohesion to imagine alternative AI and data governance futures and associated social, geopolitical, economic and environmental dynamics to envision pathways toward increasingly humane and equitable human-technology-world relations.
