The Best American Stories Evaluation (BASE) Project is a partnership between the US Embassy in Canberra and East-West Center to gather stories and data on recent and ongoing human capital development collaborations across government, industry, academia, and civil society organizations. The project focuses on joint efforts in education, public health, and economic innovation by the US and eight Southeast Asian and Pacific nations: Australia, Fiji, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, and Vanuatu.
