Raquel Kealalōkahi Aki assumed the role of Corporate Secretary for the East-West Center in March 2022. She has over 15 years of experience supporting senior level executives in non-profit, federal, and state sectors including Kamehameha Schools and NOAAʻs Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center.

Raquel is a native Hawaiian entrepreneur and small business owner. She serves on the Board of Directors for The Papahānaumokuākea Marine Debris Project, Inc., and is pursuing a degree in Pacific Island Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

Raquel is a member of the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement and the Kalihi-Pālama Hawaiian Civic Club. She resides in the ‘Ewa moku of O‘ahu with her three daughters: Rylee, Rielle, and Kelia.
