2019 Asia Pacific Leadership Program Fellowship

The Asia Pacific Leadership Program Fellowship (APLP) is the center of excellence for leadership education in the Asia-Pacific region and a signature program of the East-West Center.  Currently celebrating its 19th anniversary, the APLP has created a network of over 600 dynamic leaders in 45 countries who are helping to build a peaceful, prosperous and just Asia-Pacific community.

The APLP seeks outstanding individuals from all walks of life (government, business, NGOs, health sciences, media, monastic orders, and education) to participate in an innovative leadership development program with East-West Center’s Leadership Program team.  Generation 19 will begin on August 5, 2019 with an online launch before the cohort meets in Chennai, India from August 17-26, 2019 where they will take part in APLP sessions and attend the 2019 East-West Center Chennai Leadership Symposium, August 23-25. They will return to their home countries to participate in an innovative digital module before joining regional specialists and leadership educators in a dynamic learning community in Honolulu, Hawaii (October-December).
