The East-West Center Association (EWCA) is an international network of professionals who have a past affiliation with the East-West Center. There are no membership fees or other requirements to participate in the EWCA.

Congratulations to EWC’s 2016 Alumni Scholars!
Thanks to the generosity of alumni and community donors, the East-West Center Association Alumni Scholarship Fund has enabled 116 participants from 22 countries to participate in EWC education programs since 2002.

Alumni Gathering in South Asia
A special session for South Asian EWC alumni was held in conjunction with the 2016 International Media Conference in New Delhi on September 11th. Dr. Shyam Agrawal opened the session and welcomed everyone. The panelists included Mr. Richard Turbin, Chair of the EWC Board of Governors, Dr. Charles E. Morrison, EWC President, Dean Mary Hammond, EWC Education Program, Ms. Karen Knudsen, Director of External Affairs, and Ms. Noreen Tanouye, Alumni Coordinator. Alumni members were given updates from the EWC and had a chance to reconnect with their Chapters. About 60 alumni attended. The session was followed by a joint reception of conference participants and alumni at the Indian Habitat Centre. See more photos
Nepal Earthquake Relief
The EWCA Nepal Chapter held an Executive Committee Meeting on May 4, 2015 and suggested that donations towards rescue relief and rehabilitation of the earthquake devastated victims should be made to the EWCA Nepal Chapter’s account. The deposited amount will later be presented to the Prime Minister Relief Fund by the Chapter.
